Capcom let the cat out of the bag at TGS 2022 and presented Street Fighter 6, which will be released in 2023, with lots of new gameplay footage. In the three videos we show you here, we see, for example, the Fighting Grounds, scenes from the World Tour, recordings from the Battle Hub, new characters, as well as an invitation to a closed beta with industry veteran Kosuke Hiraiwa commenting on the fighting action together with Japanese musician and entertainer Demon Kakka.

Capcom has also unveiled four fighters of note from Street Fighter 6: Blanka, Dhalsim, Ken and E. Honda (not referring to Honda's E-car). There's an extremely detailed blog entry over at Capcom USA's website. You can also see the green Blanka in action in the video linked above.
Also worth watching is the following almost four-minute clip, which focuses on Street Fighter 6's World Tour mode. Customise the look of your male and female fighters to suit your own ideas. SF6 offers a number of customisation options. With your customised character, you can meet other players in the Battle Hub, arrange online matches, play classic Capcom games or take part in tournaments. Extreme Battles are also supposed to be fun, with a party mode for which you set up rather unusual rules.
World Tour, Battle Hub, new fighters in Street Fighter 6
Although Street Fighter 6 won't be released until 2023, those who can't wait and want to release aggression can do so as early as October 2022. Capcom invites you to a closed beta phase that will run from October 7th - 10th 2022 and will include crossplay. This means that you will also compete against Playstation and Xbox gamers with your Steam version of Street Fighter 6. According to the following invitation video, the closed beta includes these game modes: Ranked Match, Casual Match, Battle Hub Match, Open Tournament, Extreme Battle, Game Center, Training Mode. That's neat. On the official registration page for the Street Fighter 6 beta you can apply for the closed test phase. You need to provide a Capcom ID to sign up (registration).
