Street Fighter 6: Ingrid Enters the Arena – The Final Year 3 Fighter Arrives on May 28

Street Fighter 6 will get its final Year 3 character, Ingrid, on May 28, 2026—a mysterious traveler between parallel worlds with the power of the sun. Oh, and Ingrid loves fish sticks.

Street Fighter 6 is Capcom’s award-winning fighting game featuring three game modes—Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub—which has sold over six million copies since its 2023 launch. You choose from a growing roster of fighters and face off against each other in the classic 1-vs-1 format, using either the Classic, Modern, or Dynamic control scheme. New fighters are added all the time. At the end of May, Ingrid makes her grand entrance.

Ingrid: The Sun Goddess Enters the Arena

On the surface, Ingrid appears to be a young girl, but she seems as though she’s already lived through several eras. And that’s no coincidence. She travels through parallel worlds, channels the power of the sun, and, according to her character description, “despises boredom.” But she loves fish sticks and fruit parfaits. Good to know. She made her first appearances in 2004 in Capcom Fighting Evolution and later in Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX. She is now making her long-awaited comeback in Street Fighter 6.

Her new Outfit 1 showcases her current look during dimensional travel. Outfit 2 will be the iconic purple sailor uniform from her earlier appearances, which will also be available starting May 28.

Unlocking and Pass Info

Ingrid can be purchased individually with Fighting Coins or is automatically unlocked if you purchase the Street Fighter 6 - Year 3 Character Pass or the Year 3 Ultimate Pass. As the last of the four Year 3 characters following Sagat, C. Viper, and Alex, her release will coincide with the release of the Outfit 3 DLCs for all Season 3 fighters.
