Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition Opening Movie and 6 new fighters featured
Capcom has featured six new fighters for Street Fighter 5's third season as part of the 2017 Capcom Cup. Plus the opening movie for the Arcade Edition has been released.
Over the weekend players around the world competed in the annual Capcom Cup, and the 2017 Cup even featured a few revealed by Capcom who were ready to deliver exciting news to fans. Not only did they give us a tease for the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, but we also learned more about the upcoming Street Fighter 5 Arcade Edition and 6 new characters that would be joining the fight with Sakura, Blanka, Falke, Cody, G and Sagat arriving with the Third Season of the game next year.
The third Season Pass will give players access to new fighters, which can be also be unlocked via Fight Money by playing Street Fighter 5. Making her debut first will be Sakura, followed by 5 other characters launching next year. You'll be able to grab the third Season Pass from January 16th - which is also the day that the Arcade Edition launches. Speaking of the Arcade Edition, we've got some fresh gameplay from the recent PSX Event via IGN as we see Ken take on various foes including Chun-Li and Guile.
Street Fighter Arcade Edition will include all the previously released fighters, a brand new interface, new gameplay options and upgraded graphics. Anyone who owns a copy of the current Street Fighter 5 will get an upgrade to the Arcade Edition when it releases for free.

Street Fighter 5 Arcade Edition launches on January 16th.
