Tactics, History, WW2 – What Sudden Strike 5 Has to Offer

For those who aren’t yet in the loop: As part of a renowned strategy game series (launched in 2000), Sudden Strike 5 is a real-time tactical game that sends you back to the front lines of World War II, from the battlefields of Europe to the desert regions of North Africa. You take command of more than 300 historically authentic units, including over 110 infantry formations and nearly 200 vehicles such as Sherman tanks, T-34s, and the Messerschmitt Bf 109.

The single-player campaign features 25 missions with dynamic objectives. Hold key positions, secure supply lines, blow up bridges. It’s Sudden Strike, after all. On top of that, there’s a system of customizable commanders who provide different bonuses depending on your playstyle, such as increased artillery accuracy or smoke grenades for cover. For competitive players, there are also online PvP battles.
