Fly like an eagle with The Falconeer Launch Trailer
Feathery, but certainly not feather-light: The one-man indie project The Falconeer, distributed by Wired Productions, took to the runway today. With a launch trailer, Wired lets feisty fluttermen fight for supremacy on stormy seas. What makes The Falconeer so special is its unique mixture of succinct art design, action-packed aerial combat and the possibility of going to war on horseback on giant birds - i.e. dogfights not with planes. All this is garnished with the elements of a role-playing game.
The Falconeer describes the conflicts of several clans and Falconeer classes are each equipped with their own weapons and war birds. The feathered creature gains fighting power by completing quests, tracking down secrets, defeating enemies and investing in mutagens and chants. Flying, dodging, rolling, spinning and even diving - you can use various winds and other sea conditions to your advantage in your flying manoeuvres. The Falconeer is the combat bird simulator in an open game world, with fast, merciless aerial battles. So that it doesn't get monotonous between the clouds, ride high in the sky, above the waves and plunge into the depths of the ocean.
