The Sinking City 2 arrives August 18th, gets a new trailer

According to the latest “Welcome to Arkham” trailer, The Sinking City 2 from Frogwares is set to release on August 18, 2026. You can already try out a Steam demo now.

The survival horror sequel to the cult classic The Sinking City finally has a set release date: At Summer Game Fest, developer Frogwares confirmed the release of The Sinking City 2 on August 18 and presented the “Welcome to Arkham” trailer as part of the Future Games Show Summer Showcase—check it out right here:

The Sinking City 2 is a third-person survival horror game that sends you to the flooded Arkham of the 1920s. Unlike its predecessor, the focus this time isn’t primarily on detective work, but on classic survival horror gameplay: scarce resources, strict inventory management, and exploration both on land and by boat. You take on the role of Calvin Rafferty, an adventurer with a penchant for the occult who is drawn into a city haunted by Lovecraftian monsters following a ritual gone wrong, all while carrying a very personal tragedy with him.
