I don't know if you guys still respond here...But i wanted to know, aside from directly supporting you guys... what is the difference between this game and the one available on steam? Is this version more updated patch wise, or something like that?

We're working directly with Frogwares to sell the game. You're supporting them by purchasing from us.

It should also be mentioned that, as far as I know, the Steam version is missing DLC (as is the console versions). Most notably while it offers Worshippers of the Necronomicon as a purchasable option, Merciful Madness isn't available to buy on there. So no matter what version you buy on Steam, it isn't the complete experience compared to the version you'd buy through Frogwares directly...or in this case the site they're working with directly in selling the game.

So it's a few things.

I'm new to this store. I'm vaguely aware of the controversy with the different versions of this game. So the Steam and EGS versions are the Nacon versions, and this is the Frogware version, correct?

Hi there, yes this is the Frogwares version. Buying on Gamesplanet you support the developers.

Happy to support Frogwares. I got it on Epic Game Store a while back, then I heard about the fiasco... and wanted to show my support by buying this DRM Free copy where the money goes straight to the devs.

Thank you for such an amazing game.

Little warning, the price is in USD, though it doesn't state that anywhere. I bought it thinking it would be $49.49 AUD when in fact it was $72.41 AUD. That'll learn me.

We only support USD, EUR and GBP. You can tell the currency at the top where we have a US flag (and also the URL being "us.gamesplanet.com"). If the price was not fine for you there's always the refund before enabling button.

@CraigB

That's okay. Worth it to get the proper edition of the game.

okay, I have the Sinking City on Epic. I got it when it came out but I did not get the DLCs. If I buy them here can I play them on Epic or will I need to play it somewhere else?

DLCs are not comparable with any other version of the game.

I got the standard edition when it was on sale a couple weeks ago and didn't realize there was a deluxe version. Is there an option to upgrade on this site later?
