Hey, no its a direct download provided by Frogwares and your money goes back to the developers to fund future projects. We're an official retailer working directly with them to sell the game on PC.

Yes the game has both a map and a compass at the top to give you an idea which direction to go.

It involves some detective work (as that's what the game is), but shouldn't be too hard.

There are no Steam keys for the official version on PC, the only other official retailer for the game is Origin. The Steam version is not published by Frogwares.
