Publisher THQ Nordic annoucnes the sequel to This is the Police with a brand new trailer. This is the Police 2 comes to PC and consoles in 2018, with new gameplay mechanics.

This is the Police 2 is set in the remote town of Sharpwood, a cold place where everyone knows people by name. The town is also home to smuggling and gangs that have spread throughout the town like a cancer. You play as Sheriff Lilly Reed, who is voiced by Sarah Hamilton (The Longest Journey) and it will be up to her to deal with the crime in the town by maintaining peace in the community. A mysterious stranger known as Warren Nash appears in Sharpwood, but who is he? And more importantly, what will he bring with him? Salvation or perdition?

This is the Police 2 is set in the remote border town of Sharpwood. A Kaff where no one can really act anonymously. But just there smugglers and other criminals have spread. Not an easy job for Lilly Reed, Sheriff of Sharpwood, voiced by Sarah Hamilton (The Longest Journey). As a young woman, Reed, with her clumsy colleagues on the fringes of civilization, finds it all the more difficult because they struggle to execute orders from a woman. Then suddenly Warren Nash is on the scene, a stranger whom no one is really able to classify. What's up with Nash?

The mix of adventure and management goes even further in the sequel, with added tactical and strategic elements to offer even more gameplay this time around. Just like the original game This is the Police, the decisions you make will impact the shape of the game as you pick the right tools for the job. Reed will also have help from his colleagues, who all have their own fears, strengths and weaknesses to explore.
