Take on the darkness with the upcoming horror adventure game Those Who Remain from Wired Productions, which is launching on May 15th 2020.
Prepare the flashlights later this year as publisher Wired Productions and developer Camel 101 are launching their horror adventure game Those Who Remain on May 15th 2020. Fresh from PAX East comes news that the upcoming game will be scaring the crap out of everyone in May. With it also comes a brand new gameplay trailer to give us a taste of what awaits us later this year:
If you aren't aware that Those Who Remain comes from developer Camel 101 and publisher Wired Productions, you might have mistaken it for a Remedy Entertainment title as the game has something of an Alan Wake vibe and is a bit like Control in places, while the gameplay is a bit like Call of Cthulhu (Cyanide Studio). A promising mix for an upcoming horror adventure.
You play as Edward, and explore a the dark sleepy village of Dormont. Unfortunately for Edward he's plagued with nightmares and memories of his screwed-up past due to the loss of his wife and daughter, not to mention drinking problems. He also has reflections of the deeds done by other citizens of Dormont and reality is heavily distorted by various events that result in "Shadows of Evil" manifesting. Alan Wake sends his regards.
What is madness, what is reality? Let's find out together later this year when the game launches on May 15th. You can pre-order Those Who Remain for PC at Gamesplanet now and save 15% off!
