Total War: Warhammer 3 – Lords of the End Times: Cinematic Trailer sets the scene for new content

With “Lords of the End Times”, Creative Assembly is releasing what is perhaps the biggest expansion for Total War: Warhammer 3. A cinematic trailer gives a glimpse of four new Legendary Commanders – the release is on 24 September.

The undead are rising, Nurgle rages and the Skaven are hatching their plans: the cinematic trailer for Total War: Warhammer 3 – Lords of the End Times offers a first glimpse of the battle-ready commanders you can look forward to in what is arguably the biggest DLC in the series’ ten-year history.

Four new Legendary Commanders

At the heart of the expansion is Nagash, the Lord of the Undead, who seeks to ascend to godhood as a faction in his own right and builds necropolises to drain life from the surrounding area. Take on the role of the Glott brothers to sow Gardens of Decay as monstrous Nurgle warriors. With the Skaven Grey Prophet Thanquol, you’ll hatch devious plans, whilst Boris the Frenzied (also known as Boris the Deathbringer) defends the Empire against the looming apocalypse as a melee commander.

The bundle includes a total of 4 Legendary Commanders, 8 Legendary Heroes, 5 additional Lords and Heroes, 23 battlefield units and 12 Legendary Mercenary Regiments, plus new gameplay mechanics centred around apocalyptic scenarios. A package as massive as an ogre in its bulking phase.

Total War: Warhammer 3 – Lords of the End Times is due for release on 24 September for PC, and you can already pre-order the complete bundle at a discount on Gamesplanet. Alternatively, you can pre-order the four Lord DLCs – namely Nagash, Thanquol, Glottkin and Boris Todbringer can also be purchased individually.
