Victoria 3: Through the Russian Civil War with the ‘State and Revolution’ DLC

Victoria 3: State and Revolution is live! The DLC plunges you into the chaos of the Russian Empire, whilst Update 1.15 introduces copper, a cold weather system and revamped war support.

The Tsar calls, and the revolution is already knocking at the door: the Immersion Pack Victoria 3: State and Revolution is now available for PC. In the grand strategy title Victoria 3, you take on the role of head of state, guiding a nation through the 19th century. This time, the focus is on the Russian Empire, and you’ll navigate the balance between autocracy and revolution.

As an autocratic ruler, you appoint favourites and can adopt their ideological positions as your own. You can summarily send troublesome opponents into exile in Siberia. There are also journal entries covering the tsars, the Russian Revolution and the ensuing civil war, Russification, and the cultural upheavals in Ukraine and Belarus. New historical figures, seasonal effects, a Russian architectural style and fresh music round off the package.

Update 1.15 “Ivan-Chai/Fireweed” with an ice age affecting sea routes

Update 1.15 is being released alongside today’s launch of State and Revolution. War support now ranges from 0 to 100 percent and can change as the war progresses. Certain war objectives can now be achieved whilst conflicts are still ongoing, without the war having to end. Copper is a new resource in the game and is in high demand due to the need for electricity. Furthermore, sea routes freeze over at times, slowing down ships and disrupting trade. Each market area can also have up to four trade hubs.

Important: Older save files are largely incompatible with Update 1.15. Mods that haven’t been updated may also cause problems.
