Warhammer 40k Darktide: Subtitles in the No Man's Land trailer are wildly different
With update 1.10.0, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide launches a new campaign, bringing fresh missions, events, and a new Ogryn voice to the game. The trailer for the update is also worth checking out.
With “No Man's Land,” Warhammer 40,000: Darktide receives a free update that introduces a permanent mini-campaign consisting of three interconnected missions. Players start by defending the Moebian 53rd from a train hijacking, then advance into the Excise Vault Spireside-13, and finally experience the new operation called “No Man's Land.” Those who complete the campaign on different difficulty levels can also unlock new Penance challenges. The update also delivers a free Ogryn voice profile called “The Heavy,” for which Tim Bentinck, known as Victor Saltzpyre from Vermintide, lent his voice.
Okay, every Darktide player will already know what to expect with update 1.10.0. But not everyone knows how much humor is hidden in the optional subtitles of Fatshark videos. If you turn them on while watching the No Man's Land trailer, you'll see lines like these describing the soundscape:
“[Heavy cracks from stub revolver blasts dismantling the vanguard]”
“[Heavy machine gun fire mercilessly mows down heretics]”
“[Thwack] [Whack]”
“[Immensely satisfying automatic gun fire - ha ha ha ha ha!]”
“[Wet, squelchy impact sounds as heretics are torn limb from limb]”
But see and hear for yourself.
