Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 3 is officially in development

Space Marine 2 is an award-winning shooter hit with over 2 million units sold. Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have already announced the sequel to Titus' adventures: Space Marine 3 is coming!

In Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2, our indomitable Ultramarine confronted the Tyranid hordes and scattered their pieces in a gory celebration. Millions of fans are celebrating the game and yet it was only the warm-up round.

John Bert, Managing Director at Focus Entertainment, promises great things for the third instalment:

Players can look forward to an immersive campaign, a multiplayer mode and innovations that will redefine the standards for third-person action games. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 is being developed in close co-operation with Games Workshop and will take the genre to new heights by introducing big and even more spectacular battles.

It smells of blood and overloaded plasma! For his part, Saber Interactive's Matthew Karch sees things this way:

While we remain committed to enriching and evolving the Space Marine 2 universe over the coming years, we will also be using all our expertise to deliver an even more spectacular and immersive experience with the third instalment. We see Space Marine 3 as an opportunity to pay a grandiose tribute to the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
