Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 - Confrontation Update Now Includes New PvP Features

The Confrontation update for the action hit Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is here: two new PvP maps, a nasty Thousand Sons boss, new Heroic Weapons and armor pieces, and the final Season Pass 2 cosmetics.

Patch 14.0 marks the end of Year 2 and sends Space Marine 2 into overtime with fresh content. Ultramarines, Salamanders, and others can look forward to new battlefields, a new boss, and additional gear.

Two New Arenas for the Eternal War

The Eternal War mode is getting two new locations: “Sanctum on Avarax” and “Facility on Demerium.” There are also fresh weekly PvP rewards and new Ordeals. Players who compete in Eternal War matches and complete the Datavault Challenges will earn exclusive badges and cosmetic items.

Things are heating up in the PvE section of Space Marine 2: With the Scarab Occult Terminator Sorcerer, the developers are introducing a true Thousand Sons champion. This Terminus foe now appears in every Chaos Operation as well as in Siege mode. Don’t be afraid—charge into battle!

Cosmetics for Salamanders and Raptors

To wrap up Season Pass 2, there are two new skin packs: The Salamanders Champion Pack 2 includes a Heavy Champion skin along with a matching Multi-Melta skin. The Raptors Cosmetic Pack delivers five armor pieces that are clearly inspired by the chapter’s combat doctrine.
