E3 2017 - Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Announced, Coming October 27th
Bethesda Announces Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, sequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order in a brand new first person shooter experience that will continue the fight against the powerful Nazi War Machine.
Well we've known about this one for a while, dating all the way back to last year's E3 when a teaser was dropped that mentioned a new Wolfenstein game in production under the name "New_Colossus". Fast forward to this year and Bethesda have finally revealed the project, which is once again being created by the team over at MachineGames - who worked on The New Order.
Players will once again join BJ Blazkowicz who is a member of the Resistance, picking up after the events of The New Order where your victory is short lived and you must once again join the fight with countless guns at your disposal as you take on the Nazi threat from rising to power again.
This new action game will be powered by id Tech 6 engine (which was last seen in DOOM, Wolfenstein II will take players to an America controlled by Nazis to recruit new leaders to the resistance and join the cause. Fight in various iconic locations including the small town in Roswell, New Mexico, the flooded streets of New Orleans, and a post-nuclear Manhattan.
Expect even more weapons at your disposal as you deal with the Nazi threat, plus you will have some powerful abilities that will aide you in the fight as you take on various legions of advanced Nazi soldiers, cyborgs, and über soldiers in this ultimate first person shooter sequel.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will release on October 27th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
