SEGA presents new details on Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties: a brand-new tech video highlights the Steam-exclusive PC features of the remake.

With a short but content-rich video aimed at PC gamers, SEGA puts the PC version of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties in the spotlight — and, as expected, it delivers on the technical front. Developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is leveraging popular PC features to clearly set the remake apart from the original version and the earlier remaster.

On PC, players can look forward to features such as Frame Generation, freely adjustable frame rates, and support for ultrawide monitors. All of this is complemented by extras like trading cards and verified Steam Deck support. The goal is clear: a significantly smoother gameplay experience, making close-quarters combat feel more dynamic than ever before.

Content-wise, improvements have also been made. Revised cutscenes and new combat styles aim to make familiar scenes feel fresher. In addition, Dark Ties introduces a playable prequel storyline, allowing players to follow Yoshitaka Mine and experience his rise.
