Experience Ancient Greece in all its splendour in Age of Empires 2 Battle for Greece DLC
More than 25 years after its release, Age of Empires 2 is being regularly expanded thanks to the new Definitive Edition. On November 14th, Xbox Game Studios (Microsoft) will release Chronicles: Battle for Greece, an ambitious DLC.
After Rome and the Vietnam Lakes, but also the Byzantine, Seljuk and Abbasid Empires, three new Greek civilisations will also be appearing in Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition in the future: the DLC AoE2 DE: Chronicles Battle for Greece brings the Athenians, the Spartans and the Achaemenids into play. Each civilisation has unique units and technologies.
The DLC will feature a narrative campaign covering more than a century of history, spanning events from the Ionian Revolt, when Persian King Darius I attempted to suppress Greece, to the Medieval Wars and the Peloponnesian War between Athens and Sparta. These wars include 21 scenarios with film sequences and voice output.
An innovative naval combat system with 19 new models of naval units will enrich the naval battles thanks to Chronicles Battle for Greece. In total, the new content offers 55 new models for land units and 85 new building models with unique gameplay mechanics and exclusive technologies for each civilisation.
As in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the Battle for Greece DLC content introduces you to iconic historical figures such as Artemisia, Themistocles and Brasidas, who are directly integrated into the campaign with detailed voices and animations.
On Gamesplanet we offer you Age of Empires 2 DE: Chronicles Battle for Greece for activation on Steam or optionally in the Microsoft Store, now for a short time with 20% discount on your desired key.
