Assassin's Creed Shadows: Deep Dive Gameplay from Ubisoft Forward
The next Assassin's Creed, titled Assassin's Creed Shadows, promises to be an epic and gripping adventure. War, revenge and justice - that's what the AC with a Japanese setting is all about. The first game scenes have now been revealed.
As part of this year's Xbox Showcase and the subsequent Ubisoft Forward Show, the publisher and developer naturally also put Assassin's Creed Shadows on stage. After all, the new Assassin's Creed should be ready in a few months and AC fans are eagerly awaiting the much-requested Japanese locations. After we were first treated to a cinematic trailer and the introduction of the characters in May, things continued at the Xbox Showcase on 9 June with a "first look" trailer and the first gameplay scenes.

Just one day later, AC Shadows finally came out of the shadows: At Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft presented us with an extended gameplay walkthrough video with a proud length of no less than 13 minutes. In it, we follow protagonist Yasuke as a Samurai as he explores Fukuchiyama and learn about his fighting skills. After a film sequence with Yasuke and his sidekick Naoe, we learn what it's like to secretly infiltrate enemy bases as a Shinobi in stealth mode. The subsequent presentation of highlights from the open game world also leaves no room for doubt: a genuine Assassin's Creed that not only improves graphically, but also offers some new features in terms of gameplay.
And then there was another trailer drop as part of Ubisoft Forward. The "Post Show Deep Dives" video is initially also about Assassin's Creed Shadows, but not only. Well-known Ubisoft employees, such as Game Director Charles Benoit, comment on AC Shadows, the upcoming open-world game Star Wars Outlaws and The Division 2.
