replyWell, it's more regarding region locking (US when in EU) - I know I can get around it when buying directly on Origin US store or getting a US digital key, but I have never tried/don't know how "Origin Direct" works at all (therefore not knowing how to get around the region "problem") 😅

replyAs I mentioned to Sarge you can try and if it doesn't work we'll happily refund.
replyOrigin Direct just puts the game on the account after redemption (done via their API). If it doesn't work we can refund you no worries.
As I said though it should be fine.
