Can we play the open beta with this ?
I wanna know because the pre-download starts today for all pre-orders but I can't see an open beta code anywhere

Yes, you certainly can. Be aware that currently EA is experiencing issues and preload doesn't start for everyone. EA is already working on it and hopefully they'll have it fixed soon.

But I don't understand....Some people talk about code and when I purchased BF 2042 from this website yesterday the game was delivered but with no code. Is that normal ? I have no option to even see the beta...

Yes, this is normal as we use Origin direct activation. It is official activation process.
Currently EA is experiencing issues and number of players are unable to pre-download the game. We are monitoring the situation and will provide a fix update once there's a know, reliable fix for the issue or EA solves it.
In the meantime you can see if the pre-download is working for you by going to Origin app, click Store, find the game and "Try it first". It should add the game to your library and allow for download. If this is not happening it means you are affected by the issue and need to wait for further update.
