wanted to ask something that I'm not familiar with

Hey,
I wanted to ask what is that 3rd party that is connected to my account?
can I remove it?
what is that doing?
can I get hacked into my game when I'm playing?
I will not get achievements from blizzard (?) like normal purchase from battle.net?
hope for a quick feedback, Thanks.

Hey there,

  • You can remove the connection, yes. It is only needed during activation process.
  • It is used to confirm the purchase from Gamesplanet to battle.net
  • The account linking is only used during activation process, so no - it does not affect probability of being hacked at all,
  • You will get achievements, the process in the end does not differ from purchase on battle.net directly. We are Activision/Blizzard direct partner and we use their direct activation system. As explained above, you link account and through that they get confirmation of purchase and the game is activated on your bnet account same way as you would bought it on bnet directly hence the name of the system we use - direct activation ;)
