Important! How to install COD: Modern Warfare on your PC with the Blizzard App (Battle.net client)

You purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at Gamesplanet, connected the game to your Battle.net account (instructions) and now you want to download and install the game itself? You can do this conveniently with the "Battle.net Desktop App" from Blizzard. It is required for the installation process. Read here how to download Blizzard's client, install it, and then start the download.

Download and install Blizzard's App - a step-by-step guide

Step 1: Visit the official Blizzard download page and click "Download for Windows".

Step 2: Run the downloaded file "Battle.net-Setup.exe", install the app, start it and enter the login data of your Blizzard account to log in. Don't have a Blizzard account yet? Then click on "Create a free Blizzard Account" below and log in after that.

Step 3: In the Blizzard App, click the "MW" icon on the left and after that "Install" on the right. After downloading over 117 GB, the Battle.net client installs the game on the desired drive and you can start Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Hi I'm having the same issue as a lot of these people. I bought Modern Warfare and all I have is Warzone. I downloaded Modern Warfare from the downloads menu on Blizzard website and I still don't even see it in battlenet app. Please help

Hey, so the game is definitely activated on your account. Make sure you're logged into the correct one and restart your launcher if need be. To confirm its activated see this page (while logged in) https://eu.shop.battle.net/en-gb/product/call-of-duty-modern-warfare

You'll see a tick next to the game to confirm its activated. We're aware of a temporary issue with activation that should hopefully be resolved soon. You may try reaching out to Blizzard support in the meantime for assistance with the game.

It's definitely activated on the account though, but it appears to be a sync issue which is causing problems.
