Important! How to install COD: Modern Warfare on your PC with the Blizzard App (Battle.net client)

You purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at Gamesplanet, connected the game to your Battle.net account (instructions) and now you want to download and install the game itself? You can do this conveniently with the "Battle.net Desktop App" from Blizzard. It is required for the installation process. Read here how to download Blizzard's client, install it, and then start the download.

Download and install Blizzard's App - a step-by-step guide

Step 1: Visit the official Blizzard download page and click "Download for Windows".

Step 2: Run the downloaded file "Battle.net-Setup.exe", install the app, start it and enter the login data of your Blizzard account to log in. Don't have a Blizzard account yet? Then click on "Create a free Blizzard Account" below and log in after that.

Step 3: In the Blizzard App, click the "MW" icon on the left and after that "Install" on the right. After downloading over 117 GB, the Battle.net client installs the game on the desired drive and you can start Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

You need to activate the game on Battle Net, it's waiting for you on your account - https://us.gamesplanet.com/support/23-activations/271-activation-with-battle-net-direct

When you've done that you can download.

There is no code, everything is redeemed directly onto Battle Net. I see you've manged to do that, so download the Battle Net launcher (if you haven't already) and download the game from there.

Hey, try closing the battle net launcher completely (exit it) then open it again. This should fix the sync issue.

Bought the game through here and it won't pop up on my Battle net account, support has stopped responding to me and I just want to play the game.

Hey! I had the same issue a few minutes ago. You need to make sure that your battle.net account is linked with your blizzard account. Once I did that it was all good and it is installing right now! :D Hope I helped you out

This is basically fraud then? Because it doesn't work. Doubt it's meant too... Please refund me. What happened to download links? Why do I need to install, yet another useless client software on top of 120+ gigs? That'
s ridiculous. What exactly is wrong with Steam? I don't even want to play this anymore. Spent nearly an hour now trying to get it to work. Give me my money back. Doubt either will happen, I'll never see the game, or my money. That was $50 bucks well spent!

Please stop calling us fraud, we're an official retailer working directly with Activision and are even listed on their website for the game. You must redeem the game on Battle Net directly, which you have yet to do because it's waiting on your account page. Once you've done that you'll be able to download the game from the Battle Net launcher.

Anyway, I did everything listed. I activated the product, downloaded more crap to my drive, opened it, and nothing. It's not there, want screen shots as proof? I'm not new to this world. I've bought 100s of games over the years and never had a problem like this. Steam works, why can't this?

That leaves me with two options. Fraud or absolute incompetence. I should be able to pay, download, and play. You know, how every other game in human history worked? help me fix it, and I'll retract my statement publicly. I have no problem with that. I just hate it when things have extra steps. Which this has in abundance.

I'm having the same issue and did everything you suggested in your email response to me, I have sent you another email. I as well as others are beyond frustrated with this issue. First time games planet game buyer and tbh not very impressed!!
