Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters - Story Trailer: The Road to the World Cup
Bandai Namco has released a story trailer for Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters. It not only reveals more about the story but also sets the release date: August 28th.
The new story trailer gives you a first look at the campaign of Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters: Tsubasa Ozora and his team battle their way through the qualifying round against opponents like Thailand, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, and China—before taking on heavyweights like Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and the Netherlands on the big stage of the World Youth Championship. If you thought anime soccer was laid-back, think again.
Super Action Soccer - More Than Just Soccer
Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters is an action-sports RPG based on the manga and anime series of the same name. You’ll follow protagonist Tsubasa through a story that retells the World Youth Arc from the original series, supplemented by a custom character of your own that you’ll bring into the Japanese national team. The gameplay revolves around what’s known as Super Action Soccer: passes, dribbles, tackles, and goalkeeper duels are enhanced with spectacular special moves. A new feature is a tactical duel system between the shooter and the keeper that actively involves both sides. Over 110 playable characters, more than 150 animated special moves, and a completely new soundtrack with over 80 tracks (eighty!) by composer Tadayoshi Makino round out the package.
