Captain Tsubasa 2 - Spain vs. France in a gameplay video. Who will win the match?
In an 11-minute video, Bandai Namco pits Spain against France on the virtual field—the publisher of Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters is thus releasing more must-see gameplay footage ahead of the PC release in August.
A Home Game as Promised
France is visiting Spain—and in the literal sense, since the new gameplay video for Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters features the Spanish team playing in front of their home crowd. Bandai Namco packs a full eleven minutes of gameplay into the clip, and that’s more than enough for several dream goals, spectacular one-on-one battles, and plays that would result in a barrage of red cards in real soccer. After just a few minutes, both teams should have already been decimated and sent off the field—that’s how mercilessly intense these duels are. True to the series’ motto: Realism was never the goal here—it’s all about having fun.
Early in the video, the score is already 1-1; after that, the game really picks up steam and more goals are scored. Who comes out on top in the end? You’ll have to find that out for yourselves. ;)
For fans of Yoichi Takahashi’s original anime, this video is a real treat, as it showcases the revamped super moves and action-packed combat system of Captain Tsubasa 2 in great detail. The PC release is set for August 28th, 2026.
