Let the slaughter begin: Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered is here

The original hack-and-slash game, complete with Xtreme Legends, is making its PC comeback powered by Unreal Engine 5 – looking better than ever before. Rediscover Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition as a remastered version.

After 25 years, it’s had a facelift and you can hardly tell its age: Omega Force and Koei Tecmo are bringing the PS2 classic Dynasty Warriors 3 to the PC as the Complete Edition Remastered. The expansion Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends is also included.

One against thousands

As usual, you fight alone against huge armies as an officer from the Three Kingdoms era. The battlefields and characters have been completely rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5. The original’s combat feel remains intact, but the action system has been noticeably revamped. Those who prefer a nostalgic experience can activate the Classic Settings for a gameplay experience close to the original.

At times, the enemy hordes are of almost unimaginable size. Realism? Not a chance. Dive straight into the action and start slashing away with all manner of melee weapons! The launch trailer shows you exactly what that looks like.

Demo to give it a go

Still not sure? The playable demo of Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered lets you experience the ‘Battle of Hulao Pass (Allies)’ scenario for free. Six officers are playable: Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Xiahou Dun, Zhen Ji, Zhou Yu and Sun Shangxiang. To access the demo, simply click on ‘Play the Steam Demo’ on our product page.
