Precision Farming 3.0 now available in Farming Simulator 25: These are the new features
After its huge popularity in previous entries, Precision Farming is now available in Farming Simulator 25. GIANTS has rolled out a free update – here’s what’s new.
If you’ve ever dabbled in Precision Farming in Farming Simulator 19 or 22, you probably hoped to continue your eco-friendly farming journey in Farming Simulator 25. According to developer GIANTS Software, you’re not alone – the feature has been one of the most downloaded and used by players. Now, Precision Farming 3.0 has officially landed in FS25.
And this isn’t just another fancy DLC – it’s actually part of a real EU-funded initiative, backed by EIT Food (Europe’s food innovation experts) and John Deere (yes, the green tractor people). The mission? Promote sustainable agriculture through gaming – and boost FS25’s features for even more gameplay fun.
Helping bring this vision to life: universities from Germany and the UK, a major Spanish grain co-op, and even a Polish research institute for livestock and food. Sounds like a wild mix? It is – in the best possible way. Precision Farming 3.0 includes all previous features, plus tramlines, pulse width modulation, automatic section control, and more. And yes – it’s completely free to download!
Here’s what Precision Farming 3.0 brings to Farming Simulator 25
Smarter fieldwork: These new features come with the free FS25 update:
Tramlines & Subsidies: Drive like you're on rails – for clean, efficient fields. Plus, eco-friendly fertilizing (like using oil radish) earns you in-game subsidies. Nice!
PWM & Section Control: Sprayers with brains! Thanks to PWM, they only spray where needed – and section control prevents over-fertilizing. Saves money and stress.
New Machines & Sensors: Six fresh machines, including the John Deere R975i. DIY fans can also upgrade trailers or equip sprayers with WeedSeeker2 tech!
