The Surge 2: Bloody massacre awaits in a new Combat Trailer
The Surge 2 is all about discovering, collecting resources and item upgrades - but the main focus is on the hard battles, which can be compared to those of Dark Souls. Even if The Surge doesn't use a fantasy scenario with sword and shield, but instead takes on a Sci-Fi approach the game is quite similar.
Not surprisingly, the new combat trailer focuses exclusively on the fights with the different weapons (and various abilities) that you'll use to fight your way through The Surge 2, including taking on certain bosses within the game. In Jericho City several factions fight for a dominant supremacy. Players will need to permanently upgrade their exo suit and learn the differences between the weapons in order to have a better chance at victory in The Surge 2. You can choose from 80 weapons that differ in range and speed. This, combined with defensive and evasive techniques, the support of drones, and the ability to pimp the character out with implants, illustrate how complex The Surge 2 is at its core. We don't have long to wait as the game is due out in less than a month!
