Important! How to install COD: Modern Warfare on your PC with the Blizzard App (Battle.net client)

You purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at Gamesplanet, connected the game to your Battle.net account (instructions) and now you want to download and install the game itself? You can do this conveniently with the "Battle.net Desktop App" from Blizzard. It is required for the installation process. Read here how to download Blizzard's client, install it, and then start the download.

Download and install Blizzard's App - a step-by-step guide

Step 1: Visit the official Blizzard download page and click "Download for Windows".

Step 2: Run the downloaded file "Battle.net-Setup.exe", install the app, start it and enter the login data of your Blizzard account to log in. Don't have a Blizzard account yet? Then click on "Create a free Blizzard Account" below and log in after that.

Step 3: In the Blizzard App, click the "MW" icon on the left and after that "Install" on the right. After downloading over 117 GB, the Battle.net client installs the game on the desired drive and you can start Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Bought the game through here and it won't pop up on my Battle net account, support has stopped responding to me and I just want to play the game.

Hey! I had the same issue a few minutes ago. You need to make sure that your battle.net account is linked with your blizzard account. Once I did that it was all good and it is installing right now! :D Hope I helped you out

I appreciate that, but the matter of the fact is that I bought the game through here and it is not popping up on my Battle net

We're still helping you, yes some are still having issues locating the game on their account but it's not all. You could try to reach out to Blizzard support to see if they're able to assist you with the problem as it could be an issue with your Battle Net account.
