Important! How to install COD: Modern Warfare on your PC with the Blizzard App (Battle.net client)

You purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at Gamesplanet, connected the game to your Battle.net account (instructions) and now you want to download and install the game itself? You can do this conveniently with the "Battle.net Desktop App" from Blizzard. It is required for the installation process. Read here how to download Blizzard's client, install it, and then start the download.

Download and install Blizzard's App - a step-by-step guide

Step 1: Visit the official Blizzard download page and click "Download for Windows".

Step 2: Run the downloaded file "Battle.net-Setup.exe", install the app, start it and enter the login data of your Blizzard account to log in. Don't have a Blizzard account yet? Then click on "Create a free Blizzard Account" below and log in after that.

Step 3: In the Blizzard App, click the "MW" icon on the left and after that "Install" on the right. After downloading over 117 GB, the Battle.net client installs the game on the desired drive and you can start Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The game still crashing on me giving me dev error 6071, all the method given would not work on me.. I`m so disappointed. I NEED A REFUND!!!!!

I bought the game and i have never purchaced from this gamesplanet and i typed in my email wrong and i cant activate my email to get call of duty what should i do did i just waste my money?

Hey, seems you've already registered it on your account. Go to your Blizzard launcher following the instructions above and download :)

Battle.net is not giving me the install option, just a buy option. Have logged out and back in several times.

Yes you do, there's no other way to play it. The game does not exist on any other platform for PC.

Okay, So I made this account with the wrong email, I signed in through facebook thinking it'd be faster, but it connected my old one and I CAN NOT confirm my email address!! I try to change my email but I cant until its confirmed which I cant do! Did I just waste 60$??

That how things work usually. If you mistype email addresses or use accounts you have no access to anymore… BOOM. Wasted. ^^
