Important! How to install COD: Modern Warfare on your PC with the Blizzard App (Battle.net client)

You purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at Gamesplanet, connected the game to your Battle.net account (instructions) and now you want to download and install the game itself? You can do this conveniently with the "Battle.net Desktop App" from Blizzard. It is required for the installation process. Read here how to download Blizzard's client, install it, and then start the download.

Download and install Blizzard's App - a step-by-step guide

Step 1: Visit the official Blizzard download page and click "Download for Windows".

Step 2: Run the downloaded file "Battle.net-Setup.exe", install the app, start it and enter the login data of your Blizzard account to log in. Don't have a Blizzard account yet? Then click on "Create a free Blizzard Account" below and log in after that.

Step 3: In the Blizzard App, click the "MW" icon on the left and after that "Install" on the right. After downloading over 117 GB, the Battle.net client installs the game on the desired drive and you can start Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

You did not confirm your email so the game was waiting for you on your account page. You can login and redeem it via Battle Net.

Battle.net is not giving me the install option, just a buy option. Have logged out and back in several times.

Hey,

The game activated on your account, please try logging out of the client completely and open it again (closing the application via task manager may help).

For me the game wont load up, its always gave me the error from the begining i press the play button in battle.net

Hi. I install the game earlier before buying it from this site. when I clicked the play button its gave me dev error 6071. need help

Hi, this error may be resolved by swapping the fullscreen mode to fullscreen borderlands. You could try pressing Alt + Enter when it starts up.

You have a different problem, you have not activated the game from your account page on Battle Net - https://us.gamesplanet.com/support/23-activations/271-activation-with-battle-net-direct

Once you've done that you'll be able to download/play :)

I also checked transaction history and it doesnt appear there, not sure if its supposed to but extra info.
