Tales of Eternia Remastered: The PC release is just around the corner, and the launch trailer is already here

Tales of Eternia Remastered will be released on October 16, 2026. Originally released in 2000 on the PlayStation, this 2D action RPG from Bandai Namco is coming today with convenience features, technical improvements, and Steam Deck support.

In Tales of Eternia Remastered, you play as Reid Hershel, who, along with his childhood friend Farah, encounters the mysterious girl Meredy in the village of Rasheans. The search for her origins reveals the “Great Fall”: The realms of Inferia and Celestia are heading toward a collision, and neither would survive the crash. The Great Craymels—powerful elemental spirits—are here to help, even if they might not look all that powerful thanks to the cute pixel art.

Fast-Paced 2D Combat with Convenience Upgrades

As an action RPG, Tales of Eternia features the Aggressive Linear Motion Battle System: use Artes, chain together combos, and coordinate your party. New features include target markers, a toggle to disable random battles, and a fast-paced auto-battle mode. Visually, you can choose between the original look and remastered graphics.

The PC release is scheduled for tomorrow, October 16, 2026. According to Valve, the game is verified to run on the Steam Deck.
