Just bought watch dogs legion ubisoft game from your guys store, didnt get any code, just a link to confirm my purchase, did that, still no game key?

I just tried to buy this game and ubisofts Ghost recon breakpoint. But after purchse it looks like it has a link to add the game to my ubisoft account. i already own both i am gifting them to a friend and just wanted the steam code to send to him. Friend is out of work and thought i would help him out by purchasing a couple games he cant afford
